PROJECT INFO

Building Tomorrow's Logistics Hub

This landmark building in Ashburton was a custom design for farm machinery dealer, Cochranes. Complete with a purpose-built warehouse, machinery wash bay, showroom, office, and mezzanine floor, this building proudly stands on State Highway 1 and can’t be missed.

Features of the building include a wash bay with sloped flooring to a drainage system, salt and peppered polished floors in the showroom and an internal parts room and service room with its own internal roller door.

An important aspect for the client was the ability to display a variety of agricultural and farming machinery on the show room floor with minimal obstructions impeding the view. This required large doors to be within the glass frontage of the building. We confidently accepted the challenge and worked closely with engineers to achieve this by having external glazing around the majority of the showroom, whilst the least amount of aluminum framing as possible so the view remained.
